About Dr. T. Deepashree

Dr. T. Deepashree is an accomplished Interventional Radiologist with more than two decades of expertise in advanced imaging and minimally invasive treatments. She began her medical career by completing her MBBS from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in the year 2000. Initially trained and qualified as a physician with MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, London, she later specialized in radiology, obtaining FRCR from the Royal College of Radiologists, UK. Her dual qualifications give her a unique advantage in combining clinical judgment with radiological expertise. She underwent radiology training at the Yorkshire Deanery, UK, followed by the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), making her one of the few Indian specialists with internationally recognized credentials in radiology and interventional radiology.

Dr. Deepashree earned the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification in 2012. She was also selected as an International Scholar to represent India at the Society of Interventional Radiology Meeting in Atlanta, USA in 2015, highlighting her global recognition. Currently, she is a Senior Consultant and Clinical Lead in Interventional Radiology and Imaging Services in Chennai, where she has performed thousands of complex procedures including over 1,800 transarterial chemo-embolisations and more than 200 uterine artery embolisations.
