About Dr. Pushparajan Sundarrajan
Dr. Pushparajan Sundarrajan is a senior interventional radiologist with over two decades of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive image-guided procedures. His career spans across leading medical institutions in India, where he has contributed to both diagnostic and therapeutic radiology. He graduated MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College in 1999 and pursued his Diploma in Medical Radiodiagnosis (DMRD) at Madurai Medical College. He later completed Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiodiagnosis from Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum. To further specialize, Dr. Sundarrajan undertook a post-doctoral fellowship in Endovascular and Interventional Radiology at Gleneagles Global Hospitals, Chennai. This training allowed him to master complex procedures like embolization, vascular interventions, tumor ablations, and advanced image-guided therapies.
Throughout his career, he has worked in several reputed diagnostic centers, teaching hospitals, and multispecialty hospitals across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. His expertise includes hepatobiliary interventions, gastrointestinal procedures, vascular access, and advanced interventional oncology techniques. Currently, he serves as a Visiting Consultant in Interventional Radiology and Imaging Services at Dr. Rela Hospital, Chennai, where he continues to deliver cutting-edge radiology services and contribute to academic research.
