He went on to achieve prestigious international fellowships and global recognition as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Gavaskar is known for pioneering minimally invasive, outpatient hip and knee replacements.
