Dr. Ashok Rajgopal is one of India’s most celebrated orthopedic surgeons, with a distinguished career spanning over 48 years in joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery.
He currently serves as the Group Chairman of the Institute of Musculoskeletal Disorders & Orthopaedics at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram.
Dr. Rajgopal has successfully performed over 25,000 total knee replacement surgeries, making him a pioneer in joint replacement across Asia.
He is widely credited with introducing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted knee replacement techniques in India.
