He currently serves as the Principal Director and Unit Head of Neurology at Max Healthcare, where he leads a team specializing in advanced neurological care. A graduate of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi, Dr. Kumar completed his MD in Medicine from MLN Medical College, University of Allahabad, and DM in Neurology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His professional expertise spans epilepsy and sleep disorders, movement disorders, stroke management, critical care neurology, and headache medicine. Known for his precision, empathy, and evidence-based approach, Dr. Kumar integrates clinical acumen with the latest neurological advancements to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Over the years, Dr. Kumar has been associated with several leading medical institutions, including AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital, Paras Hospital, and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.
