Education and Training

• Dr. Srivastava earned his MBBS degree from Bundelkhand University in August 2001, securing a University Bronze Medal for his outstanding academic performance, and received 14 gold medals during his studies.

• He completed his DNB in General Surgery in 2006, followed by his Diplomate of National Board in Neurosurgery in December 2016.

• Dr. Srivastava joined Medanta, the Medicity, Gurgaon, as a DNB trainee in Neurosurgery in January 2014, where he gained extensive experience working with cutting-edge technology and techniques.

• He underwent advanced fellowship training in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) under the esteemed Dr. (Prof) Konstantin Slavin in October-November 2018.

Professional Experience

• Dr. Srivastava worked as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, from February 2017 and currently serves as a Consultant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Artemis Agrim Institute of Neurosciences.

• Dr. Srivastava's team regularly performs deep brain stimulation, epilepsy surgery, minimally invasive and complex spine surgery, intrathecal pumps, and stereotactic radiosurgery.

• He has personally performed two cases of spinal cord stimulation independently.

Areas of Interest and Future Plans

• Dr. Srivastava has a deep interest in stereotactic, functional neurosurgery, and neuromodulation.

• He wishes to establish a dedicated center for neuromodulation as a subunit and help in establishing it as a subspecialty in neurosurgery.
