Dr. Rahul Gupta is the Senior Director and Head of Neurosurgery at Fortis Hospital, Noida, with over 20 years of experience in brain and spine surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive brain and spine procedures, endoscopic skull base surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, complex brain tumor and neurovascular surgeries, pediatric neurosurgery, and trauma management. Dr. Gupta has performed more than 11,000 neurosurgical procedures with consistently high success rates and is recognized for his expertise in advanced surgical techniques, including fluorescence-guided malignant glioma surgery and functional neurosurgery.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Gupta has made significant contributions to academic neurosurgery. He served as faculty at PGIMER, Chandigarh, and GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi, mentoring numerous neurosurgical residents and running a successful DNB training program at Fortis. He has published over 55 research articles in national and international journals, presented his work at multiple conferences, and received the prestigious Sugita Scholarship at Nagoya University, Japan. Dr. Gupta is actively involved in community outreach programs and education on brain and spine health.
