Dr. (Prof.) P. K. Mishra is one of India’s most accomplished Senior Directors in Surgical Gastroenterology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj and Vaishali. He trained at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, New Delhi), completing his super-specialization in Gastrointestinal Surgery (1994–1996), which laid the foundation for his expertise in advanced GI procedures. Over the decades, he has contributed significantly to GI oncology, hepatobiliary surgery, bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic techniques.

His academic career spans appointments as a professor, examiner, and mentor, shaping surgical training programs and guiding MCh and DNB students across top universities in India.
