About Dr. (Brig.) Anil Khetarpal
Dr. (Brig.) Anil Khetarpal is the Deputy Chief of Medical Services and Chairperson – Department of Blood Centre & Transfusion Medicine at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, he has served in premier Armed Forces Medical Services institutions, including Army Hospital (R&R), Armed Forces Transfusion Centre, and Base Hospital, Delhi Cantonment.
A recognized academician, he has 17 years of Medical Council of India–approved teaching experience, including 8 years as Professor of Pathology, shaping the next generation of medical specialists. He has pioneered advanced techniques in therapeutic apheresis, stem cell harvesting, regenerative medicine, and cryobanking, and has performed more than 300 hematopoietic stem cell harvests. Widely respected in the field, Dr. Khetarpal has been a member of the National Blood Transfusion Council (MoHFW, Govt. of India) and has numerous publications in national and international journals.
