About Dr. Vijay Kohli

Dr. Vijay Kohli is a highly acclaimed cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon known for his pioneering efforts in off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in South Asia.

He was the first to perform a beating heart CABG surgery in Kathmandu and also initiated the cardiac surgery program in Jammu Medical College.

With over four decades of surgical excellence, Dr. Kohli has held prestigious positions across top hospitals in India, Saudi Arabia, and the USA.

He has authored more than 150 scientific publications and research papers, contributing significantly to global cardiac surgery literature.

Currently serving as Senior Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, he leads a world-class team in delivering advanced heart care.
