About Dr. T Ravikumar
Dr. T Ravikumar is a senior pediatric intensivist with extensive experience in managing critically ill children, especially those undergoing complex transplant procedures. He has actively participated in over 500 pediatric liver transplants and around 50 pediatric bone marrow transplants, making him one of the most skilled specialists in pediatric transplant intensive care. His expertise includes extracorporeal therapies for children, safe transport of critically ill pediatric patients, and intensive care management in transplant cases.
He has contributed to medical education by creating pocket guides for intensivists and nurses, as well as clinical modules such as pediatric early warning scores. Currently, he leads the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as Senior Consultant and Clinical Lead at Rela Hospital, Chennai.
