About Dr. Swati Mahajan

Dr. Swati Mahajan is an accomplished Interventional Cardiologist with over 10 years of experience in the field of cardiology. She completed her MBBS and MD from GMC, Jammu, and pursued her DM in Cardiology under Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. She has further enhanced her expertise through specialized observerships in structural heart interventions, including TAVR and Mitraclip, at Sankt Katharinen Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany, and participated in hands-on TAVR workshops at the National Research Cardiac Surgery Centre, Kazakhstan.

Dr. Mahajan has performed more than 2,000 angioplasties as an independent operator, demonstrating her proficiency in managing acute coronary syndromes, complex coronary angioplasties (including left main disease and bifurcation lesions), and peripheral angioplasties. She is highly skilled in advanced techniques for calcified lesions, including rotational atherectomy, orbital atherectomy, and intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), and routinely uses imaging guidance such as IVUS and OCT to optimize procedural outcomes. Her dedication to research is reflected in her publications on cardiac imaging and interventional cardiology in national and international journals.
