Prof. Dr. Subhash Gupta is a trailblazer in liver transplant and hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery, with over three decades of surgical expertise.
He currently holds the position of Chairman of the Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket.
He is credited with performing over 2,500 liver transplants during a span of 15 years, with remarkable volume including 300 alone in a single year.
He led the launch of the first liver transplantation program at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, introducing live donor transplants as a viable and life-saving approach in India.
