Dr. Satish Chandra Chhabra is a highly respected name in the field of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant, with over five decades of dedicated clinical and academic experience. He is currently serving as Senior Director of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant at Max Healthcare, Patparganj and Vaishali. He has played a pioneering role in developing nephrology services in East Delhi. In 1993, he was instrumental in establishing the first dialysis unit in East Delhi, a landmark achievement that greatly improved access to quality renal care in the region. His efforts also extended through active collaborations with medical associations such as the East Delhi Indian Medical Association (EDIMA) and the East Delhi Physicians Association (EDPA). In 2005, he joined Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj, where he laid the foundation of the Nephrology Department. Under his leadership, the Kidney Transplant Program was initiated in 2010, further expanding the scope of advanced renal treatment. Today, he continues to head nephrology services at both Max Patparganj and Max Vaishali units, providing comprehensive renal care, from preventive nephrology to complex transplants.

Dr. Chhabra has a strong academic background and was associated with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, for over a decade.
