Dr. Sandeep Guleria is one of India’s leading transplant surgeons, with more than three decades of surgical experience in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He is currently a Senior Consultant in Transplant Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, and has been instrumental in pioneering organ transplant programs in India.

Known for his precision in complex surgical procedures and deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Guleria played a key role in the development of India’s first successful kidney-pancreas transplant. He is internationally recognized for advancing the field of solid organ transplantation, particularly in immunologically high-risk and ABO-incompatible transplants.

Dr. Guleria is also a passionate educator and researcher. His clinical excellence, ethical practice, and leadership in policy-making have helped shape transplant surgery standards nationwide.
