About Dr. Sameer Khatri

Dr. Sameer Khatri is a senior medical oncologist with more than 16 years of dedicated experience in cancer treatment. He is currently serving as Senior Director of Medical Oncology at Max Healthcare, Patparganj, where he provides advanced care across multiple cancer sub-specialties. His educational journey began at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, where he completed MBBS in 1994 and MD in Internal Medicine in 1999. He later pursued DNB in Medical Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Delhi, in 2007, which laid the foundation for his expertise in oncology. Dr. Khatri has held leadership roles at several reputed institutions. He was the Director and Head of Medical Oncology at Shanti Mukand Hospital Cancer Centre, Delhi, from 2018 to 2023, and previously served as Senior Consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali, between 2016 and 2018.

His experience also includes a long tenure at HCG–SMH-Curie Cancer Centre, Delhi, where he worked as Senior Consultant from 2009 to 2016. Earlier, he contributed to oncology services at BL Kapur Memorial Hospital and HCG–SMH-Curie Cancer Centre during 2007–2009. Alongside clinical work, Dr. Khatri has been involved in oncology research, clinical trials, and academic contributions. His professional memberships with international and national oncology societies further reinforce his commitment to evidence-based and patient-focused cancer care.
