About Dr. Rupinder Sekhon
Dr. Rupinder Sekhon is one of India’s leading gynaecologic oncologists, widely recognized for her pioneering work in ovarian cancer, cytoreductive surgery, and HIPEC for recurrent ovarian cancers. She has performed a large number of complex surgeries for cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vaginal, and vulvar cancers, including robotic and laparoscopic techniques.
A Certified Robotic Console Surgeon since 2011, she has advanced expertise in robotic hysterectomies, pelvic lymphadenectomies, and other minimally invasive cancer surgeries. She has served in the Indian Air Force for over 16 years as a Classified Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology before transitioning into dedicated gynae oncology leadership. Beyond clinical excellence, she has played a vital role in developing gynae oncology departments into state-of-the-art units, with integrated services like colposcopy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, open and robotic surgeries.
