Dr. Rudra Prasad Acharya is a senior Surgical Oncologist with more than twenty-one years of post-MBBS experience dedicated to cancer surgery, minimal access oncology and robotic cancer procedures. He has trained at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur and subsequently pursued advanced oncology training from leading national and international institutions including GCRI Ahmedabad, St. Georges Hospital Sydney and Komagome Hospital Tokyo. His surgical expertise spans GI oncology, thoracic oncology, HPB malignancies, colorectal cancers, gynaecologic cancers, breast cancers and head & neck cancer surgery. He also has strong experience in advanced techniques such as HIPEC / PIPAC and is one of the pioneers in limb salvage surgical solutions for bone and soft tissue sarcomas.
Throughout his career, Dr. Acharya has been associated with prominent cancer centres across India where he has contributed as Director, Unit Lead and Senior Surgical Oncologist.
