About Dr. R RANGA RAO
Dr. (Colonel) R. Ranga Rao, VSM, is a highly esteemed Medical Oncologist whose career spans several decades across both military and civilian healthcare sectors. His early medical career involved service in the Armed Forces Medical Services where he served as both a physician and oncologist in various postings. He subsequently held senior roles in leading cancer institutes and hospitals.
Currently, he leads the Department of Medical Oncology as Chairman at a major multi-specialty hospital in Gurugram, where he combines clinical practice with leadership in oncology services. Dr. Rao is celebrated for his broad expertise in treating solid tumors using modern modalities including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and palliative care, always aiming to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
