About Dr. Preeti Vijayakumaran

Dr. Preeti Vijayakumaran is a distinguished Consultant – Surgical Oncology at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, with expertise across thoracic, gastrointestinal, breast, gynecological, and hepatopancreaticobiliary cancers. A Gold Medalist in MBBS and DrNB Surgical Oncology, she has been trained at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India’s apex cancer institute, where she also completed her fellowship in Thoracic Oncosurgery. She has independently performed and assisted in a wide range of complex oncological surgeries, particularly lung, esophageal, colorectal, and breast oncoplastic surgeries.

With prior associations at Tata Memorial Hospital (Mumbai), MPMMCC Varanasi, and Manipal Hospital Dwarka (Delhi), she brings extensive multidisciplinary experience to cancer care. Fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, Dr. Preeti ensures culturally sensitive and patient-centered communication, helping patients feel empowered throughout their cancer journey.
