About Dr. Neera Aggarwal
Dr. Neera Aggarwal is among the most experienced and respected gynaecologists in India, with an unmatched career spanning more than five decades in obstetrics, gynaecology, and maternal health. She began her medical journey at SN Medical College, Agra, completing MBBS in 1965 and MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1968. Since then, she has been actively involved in both clinical practice and medical education. Over the years, she has successfully managed thousands of complex pregnancies and gynaecological cases, with special focus on maternal and child health, adolescent gynaecology, and reproductive health disorders.
As an academician, she has mentored and supervised 25 postgraduate students, many of whom now hold key medical positions across India, contributing to the next generation of gynaecologists. She has been an active leader in professional associations, including serving as President of the Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD) and Vice President of FOGSI, strengthening medical standards and academic growth nationwide.
