About Dr. N Sekar
Dr. N Sekar is one of the most senior and pioneering vascular surgeons in India, with more than four decades of clinical and surgical expertise. He was the first surgeon in India to obtain an MCh in Vascular Surgery and is credited with introducing endovascular surgery in Tamil Nadu. Over his career, he has performed an exceptionally high number of limb salvage procedures for diabetic patients, significantly reducing amputation rates.
Nearly all practising vascular surgeons in Tamil Nadu have trained under him, making him a mentor and teacher to an entire generation of specialists. He combines clinical innovation, academic leadership, and compassionate patient care, positioning himself as a leading authority in vascular and endovascular surgery in India.
