Dr. (Maj Gen) D V Singh is a highly experienced Urologist and Uro-Oncology surgeon with over three decades of clinical excellence in Renal Transplant, Robotic Urology and complex Urological Cancer surgeries. A distinguished alumnus of MAMC, AFMC and AIIMS New Delhi, he has deep expertise across minimally invasive, robotic and open surgical approaches in urology. His track record includes extensive experience in live related donor transplant, deceased donor transplant programs and ABO incompatible renal transplant work, making him one of the most experienced transplant surgeons in the country.
He is also widely recognised for his contribution in Uro-Oncology and reconstructive urology with proficiency across multiple robotic platforms including da Vinci and the newer Hugo RAS system, on which he became the first Urologist in North India to perform urological oncologic surgeries. His academic footprint includes being a postgraduate teacher, examiner and faculty with multiple National Boards and Universities, along with several indexed publications and scientific lectures. He continues to contribute to advancement of urological surgery and oncology in India through clinical leadership, teaching and evidence-based high end surgical practice.
