About Dr. M Srinivas
Dr. M Srinivas is a Senior Consultant in Medical Gastroenterology with more than two decades of clinical and academic expertise in India and the UK. He is a leading authority in motility disorders, particularly esophageal and anorectal motility, and has contributed several high-impact research publications in international journals. Trained in the UK for 13 years, he returned to India in 2011 and has since been associated with Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai, where he plays a key role in clinical care, teaching, and research.
His clinical strengths include gastroscopy, colonoscopy, esophageal manometry, bile acid malabsorption studies, and video capsule endoscopy. A dedicated teacher, he has served as Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and continues to mentor postgraduate trainees and physician assistant students in Chennai.
