About Dr. Lakshmi Kant Tripathi
Dr. Lakshmi Kant Tripathi is the Chief of Nephrology (Unit II) at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, recognized for his expertise in kidney transplantation, dialysis therapies, and clinical nephrology. He holds an MBBS, MD, and DM in Nephrology from IMS-BHU, along with a DNB (Nephrology, Delhi), and completed senior residencies at SGPGIMS Lucknow, Batra Hospital Delhi, and IMS-BHU.
Over his career, he has supervised more than 53,000 dialysis sessions across multiple centers in NCR and led several high-risk and ABO-incompatible kidney transplants.
He has been instrumental in establishing nephrology and dialysis departments, including at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Maldives, and six major centers across Delhi-NCR. Honored with FISN and FISOT fellowships, Dr. Tripathi is also actively involved in teaching and currently serves as Faculty for DNB Studies and Joint Secretary of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation.
