About Dr. J C Vij
Dr. J C Vij is a pioneering name in Indian gastroenterology and hepatology, with over five decades of distinguished clinical, academic, and teaching experience. He obtained his DM in Gastroenterology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and later became Professor of Gastroenterology at G. B. Pant Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College in 1990. His areas of excellence include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, with a strong focus on advanced therapeutic endoscopy.
He has contributed to over 60 publications in national and international journals and has been a visiting professor at Hamburg University, Germany. Having mentored generations of gastroenterologists, Dr. Vij continues to be a senior advisor and consultant at leading hospitals, shaping the future of digestive healthcare in India.
