About Dr. Biswajyoti Hazarika
Dr. Biswajyoti Hazarika is the Chief of Head & Neck Surgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, with more than two decades of focused experience in surgical oncology of the head and neck region. He completed his MBBS from Guwahati Medical College, followed by MS (ENT) from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, and later specialized through a Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. His surgical expertise spans oral cavity tumors, paranasal sinus tumors, laryngeal and pharyngeal cancers, salivary and thyroid gland surgeries, skull base surgery, and reconstructive plastic procedures.
A pioneer in adopting modern surgical innovations, he is proficient in endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches, as well as robotic head and neck surgery for advanced cancer management. Beyond surgery, Dr. Hazarika is deeply invested in rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients, ensuring not only survival but also improved functional outcomes and quality of life.
