About Dr. Aparna Gupta
Dr. Aparna Gupta completed her MBBS at Madurai Medical College and pursued her MS in Ophthalmology from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. She has also served as a Senior Research Scientist in Medical Retina at the prestigious Dr. R.P. Centre, AIIMS New Delhi.
Her core expertise lies in the diagnosis and medical management of retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, and age-related macular degeneration (ARMD). She is highly experienced in performing retinal and glaucoma laser procedures as well as intravitreal anti-VEGF injections.
Dr. Gupta has a strong focus on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and has been actively treating premature infants with ROP lasers for many years. She regularly works as a visiting consultant, providing ROP screening and treatment across several Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) in Gurgaon and NCR.
Her research and clinical contributions have earned her national and international awards in the fields of Diabetic Retinopathy and ROP, and she has been invited as a speaker at various ophthalmology conferences.
