About Dr. Anjali Kumar
Dr. Anjali Kumar is a distinguished obstetrician, gynaecologist, and trained robotic surgeon acknowledged as one of Delhi NCR’s most experienced practitioners. She invented “Kumar’s Technique” (Reverse Uterine Closure Technique), a novel method for suturing thin lower uterine segments in women with previous C-sections—presented at AICOG 2015 and FIGO Vancouver 2015.
A pioneer of Natural-Childbirth-Oriented Pregnancy Care, she introduced patient education and labor preparation classes in Gurgaon, championed VBAC, and developed protocols to reduce cesarean rates. She regularly appears on television shows, contributes columns in leading media, authored the book “I am Blessed”, and founded the women’s health platform MAITRI, recognized under the WHO FIDES initiative. Her practice integrates advanced robotic and laparoscopic gynaecologic syntax with compassionate, patient-centered care.
