Dr. Anand Kumar Saxena is a senior neurologist with more than 30 years of extensive clinical experience and expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological and neuromuscular disorders. He currently serves as the Principal Director and Unit Head of Neurology at Max Healthcare, where he leads a team dedicated to providing advanced and comprehensive neurological care. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, he completed his MD in Medicine from SMS Medical College, Jodhpur, and DM in Neurology from the prestigious GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Saxena specializes in treating cerebrovascular diseases, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, epilepsy, demyelinating disorders, neuromuscular diseases, dementia, and stroke management. He is also skilled in advanced procedures such as thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke, mechanical thrombectomy planning, and Botox therapy for dystonia and spasticity.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Saxena has served in several leadership positions, including as Director and Head of Neurology at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Venkateshwara Hospital, and BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi. He has presented multiple research papers at national and international neurology conferences and contributed to global multicentric studies on neurological diseases such as neuromyelitis optica.
