About Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia
Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia is the Chief of Cath Lab & TAVI (Unit I) at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, specializing in complex interventional and structural cardiology. He is an alumnus of three premier institutions of India: MBBS from JIPMER (Pondicherry), MD (Internal Medicine) from AIIMS (New Delhi), and DM (Cardiology) from SCTIMST (Trivandrum). He pursued a fellowship in Complex Coronary and Structural Heart Disease in Europe, working extensively in Budapest, Hungary, where he trained and practiced advanced transcatheter interventions.
Dr. Chaurasia is among India’s leading interventional cardiologists, with over 10,000 cardiac procedures performed, including 1000+ TAVI/TAVR cases, TMVR, TPVR, complex coronary interventions, and left atrial appendage closures. He has been a faculty member and proctor in numerous national and international conferences, training doctors across India, Europe, and Asia in advanced cath-lab and structural heart procedures.
