About Dr. Subodh Chandra Pande
Dr. Subodh Chandra Pande is a veteran radiation oncologist with over four decades of expertise in clinical oncology, teaching, and hospital leadership. He played a pioneering role in establishing neuro-oncology and pediatric oncology services at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, one of India’s leading cancer institutes. At Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, he was instrumental in advancing stereotactic radiotherapy and creating a modern radiation oncology department.
As Director of Medical Services at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Jaipur, he commissioned Rajasthan’s first Linear Accelerator, a milestone in cancer care for the state. His special clinical focus lies in Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and PET scan-based radiation techniques, which significantly enhance precision in cancer treatment.
